When the opportunity to bring Urnir home from Sweden came, thanks to the trust and faith of Ami Rooth (of Gimgolets Kennel - shown above with Leif, in Sweden), Karen and I decided to pool our resources and co-own Urnir. Karen has the time to raise a puppy right now, so it worked out better for Urnir that he go to her house, where his best friend will be Lavandels Mora. The problem arose when neither of us were able to travel to Sweden at that time. to our delight, fellow breeder and friend, Donna McDermott, (Eyjahunda Icelandic Sheepdogs) offered to make the trip to bring Urnir back to the United States. This was a great solution for all of us, including Urnir, and we are indebted to Donna for taking the time to travel and get him safely to us. Thank you Donna!
