LF360W "Noison"
White horned twin ram (carries moorit and spotting!)
WOW! Look at that Noi fleece! And I was so lucky that my choice of dam for our AI Noi lambs was Bianca, Blanche's awesome daughter. So this guy also has great build behind him, as well as a long history of hardiness, milkiness, and prolificacy, so he will be a great sire. He is shown above at 2 1/2 years of age and shown at left top
at 1 1/2 years of age; at right in February 2011.

"Jefferson"
Moorit horned twin
This ram joins the flock in 2010 and brings back some of our favorite bloodlines rolled into one: Sjodur, Mjaldur, Hunn, Horvi, Haengur and Bambi. He's a gentle ram and has a gorgeous dark moorit fleece that is fine, silky, has good crimp and is thel rich. His 2011 lambs were all born easily, even out of 11 month old ewes and they have proven to be hardy and parasite resistant as well.
LF435X "Ari"
Black/grey (or mouflon) spotted scurred triplet
1/2 AI out of Ari and Flotti
This triplet ram is out of our 10 year old leaderewe,
Patsy Montana, who had two sets of triplets for us in her 10th and 11th lambing seasons. This ram lamb was built like a tank at birth and continued to grow out fast and blocky. At 6 weeks of age he weighed 50 lbs.! From early on I could tell he had a very wide chest and good length of body. After shearing him at 6 months we also were pleased to discover how well muscled his rump and legs are and how wide his back is. Overall a very, very well built ram. He also had oodles of soft, cloud-like fleece - his lamb fleece was purchased immediately by a handspinner. She liked his so much, that she then asked to see his sister's fleece, and bought hers as well.
Even though he has scurs, he does carry horn genetics from his sire, and he was just too well built, out of such a hardy, milky and prolific dam, that he had to join the ram flock in 2010.  I was pleased with his first lambs out of one winter ewes -- they were born easily and grew out fast and were built very well, and also proved to be parasite resistant. He is shown at left at 6 months and above at 18 months.
