A note from one of our
Open Farm Day visitors:
"I thoroughly enjoyed the activities you had that day. This was my second open house at Lavender Fleece and if this year was the criteria for future events, you will have another spectacular year in 2009. Great family event! We are so blessed to have vendors in our area that we can feel secure in knowing where our meat comes from and I thank you for making that knowledge available."
Shearing Dates for 2012
If you are interested in helping on shearing day, please email me or phone (989.832.4908) ahead of the date. We have limited space for visitors, but welcome fiber enthusiasts and especially shepherds "in training" who want to learn more about handling sheep and what shearing day is all about.
The dates we plan to shear for 2012 are:
March 10th
