LF1M "Gwendolyn"
White horned twin (carries grey and spotting)
1/4 AI (Moli, Ari)
Lambing record: 2, 2, 3 (AI), 3, 2, 2, 3, 2, 3, 2, 2, 1
We consider Gwendolyn another of our key foundation ewes. As a one winter ewe she delivered twins unassisted on pasture -
they went on to grow out to the size of singles. She is an incredibly independent mother, able to nurse triplets on her own
and has never required treatment for anything. She is also consistently parasite resistant, as are her lambs.
She is one of our gems. Gwendolyn is shown above left as a 4 month ewe lamb; center at age 4 and at right at age 10.
Gwendolyn is now retired from breeding and will live out her life here as long as she wants to.
Going into winter of 2015 she will be 13  years old.
Gwendolyn lived until March 18th, 2015 and died peacefully in her sleep after eating well that morning.
She was an amazing ewe who had a incredibly productive life on our farm.
Gwendolyn's triplet son out of Ragnar, is our main flock sire now.

This absolutely gorgeous ewe lamb is out of Violet and our
Pelison, Hoss. She is naturally curious and friendly
and of course, absolutely strikingly beautiful with her lovely
spotting pattern.

Goodbye Dear Gwendolyn
We lost a grand and beautiful ewe on March 18, 2015
LF703C Lizzie
Black mouflon twin
Lambing record: 0, 1
This beautiful daughter of Elizabeth
is out of Ragnarson. She joins the flock in 2015.
She was fast growing for a twin; and during a
summer when parasites were especially hard on
many lambs, she consistently showed good
parasite resistance.
Update: Lizzie lambed April 18th.
