Betty replaces her dam, Claudia (an AI daughter of Serkur) in the flock.  Her sire is the huge ram Tolkis. She has grown into a very large, wide and long ewe, with just awesome conformation. Betty has the blackest fleece on the farm, and her wool always sells immediately because it is so dark black. Betty is shown above left as a 2 year old after having her twins on her for 8 weeks. We bred Betty to Hokan this season.
Update: Betty delivered twins on April 2nd, unassisted.

Rosey is another daughter of Claudia and a Visirson. She has very thick legs and a long body. Her fleece is so fine that it looks and feels more like cotton than wool. She is shown above as a ewe lamb at 5 months of age. Above right and at right is Rosey in late May 2008 after she was shown as a yearling. Her first lamb, Dorie, is growing out to be a beautiful, well built lamb and is shown here at just 6 weeks of age, almost as big as her young dam!
Update: Rosey delivered a beautiful black/grey ewe lamb
on April 17th.
