She did not need dewormed all summer in spite of nursing twins during a very difficult and hotly stressful summer. A real star is born! We are keeping her daughter Mia (see below). She is quite striking and has a strong visual presence in the flock, as well as quite a spunky personality. Above right Mia is shown shorn as a yearling. She lost her one winter pregnancy, so we are hopeful for some nice twins out of her in 2009. |
