August 2007 - Audur Valsdottir sent me this photo of
Lavandels Mia (above right) while she is being shown at the CKC show in Calgary (Canada). Mia took "Best Female" at
the show on Sunday in the conformation class. Mia is shown as a puppy at our farm in the photo above left.
Lavandels Vindur (above center) at the
Calgary shown by his owner/handler. Vindur earned his
Championship title on Friday under a European judge
who has actually judged Icelandic sheepdogs! He was then
shown as special on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. He won
on Monday again as well.
Vindur is shown at right at 7 weeks of age.
Lavandels Loki took 1st place in Standard Novice (16") during an agility
match in West Richland. The AKC judge was Lori Sage. While the event was AKC sanctioned,
points could not be used -- it was a demonstration to the AKC that the club could put on an agility
event.

The photo above is of Loki with his owner, Tom Ibsen, taken at an agility fun match in June 2008 at
a Columbia Basin Dog Training Club event.

On August 16 & 17, 2008, Loki performed at the Olympic Kennel Club
